mûre française

This is another photo of the gorgeous shrub American Beautyberry, also called French Mulberry. It’s hard to believe that I took this shot only a couple of weeks ago, because the color is really astounding for late autumn in Northern Illinois. Beautiful Mother Nature.

  1. I really like how the focus is in the middle of the picture. I don’t know that I would have thought to do that, I think I would have put the focus at the top or bottom but your way is much more intriguing. 🙂

  2. Beautiful photo! It has a dream-like quality to it. I’m looking forward to sharing this month of photos with you!

P.S. Thanks for stopping by today!

  3. I don’t know how you are doing it, but somehow you are dragging me into the dark world of flower photos. I used to hate flower pics, but now I find myself checking your blog daily.

I think its the composition and depth of field the catches my attention. Its always fresh (even if the flowers aren’t).

  4. I love how you’ve captured it trailing off into the distance with your ever fantastic bokeh. And I would have sworn this was taken on a lovely summers day, not just a few weeks ago. Beautiful as always.

Oh also I’d give you a thumbs up but I can’t get that link to open for me, could just be my computer though. Is there another link please?
