Wonderful image! It could have made a great puzzle because it is not obvious what it is until you’re told. I like the graduated focus on a diagonal axis.
I had a little series “can you guess what this is?” going for a while and this shot would have fit in perfectly.
Interesting photo, macros bring out detail that goes unnoticed otherwise.
