    • Minor – I apologize because I don’t know the language. When I typed the translation of Magnolia from English to Japanese, this is what came up. The characters are so beautiful though!

  1. simply beautiful!

i remember asking you what software you use for photo editing but pardon me i didn’t get to follow that thread, i went through again and couldn’t find it (blush). do you ming whispering (emailing) it to me? thanks so much in advance Kala! it’s just that i am sooooo in love with your photos. 😉

  2. What type of tree is it? Magnolia? Just curious.

Love the “view it on black” link. Very cool.

Beautiful and inspiring photo, Kala. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I truly appreciate it. 🙂

  3. A great silhouette that you have captured of this magnolia tree and its branches. I love the softened edges and the bokeh created in the upper left corner.

  4. The large version of this really matches my expectations. The near-water color blur of the trunk and branches and the gentle coloring of the blossoms is very nice. It’s deep and dreamy!

  5. Love the contrast of colors as well as the bokeh! I love the way you can express the inexpressible in your photography!

  6. I love the contrast between the out of focus background and the details of the flowers and branches in the foreground. A beautifully balanced image – wonderful work Kala!

  7. Absolutely gorgeous Kala! I love the composition and lighting. Good idea to have a link to see it with a different color background. It looks even more impressive on black background.

  8. Love the glossines and the blurred vision of the trunk in the BG, with a clear details of its small branches in the FG…
    Beautiful work
