Outside the Rain

I went out hiking in the woods today and there was so much water on the trails from all the rain we’ve had.

L on B is best!!

  1. It actually LOOKS water-laden, Kala! I woke up several times by the rain last night…but we need it. They’ve had the worst drought since 1911 in The Netherlands.

  2. sorry, i speak only a little english (i can read it but not write it).

J’aime beaucoup l’ambiance de tes photos. il y a une unité cebntrée autour de la douceur. Tes photos ont quelques choses de particulier et c’est très agréable de visiter ton travail.

  3. This is a nice soft touch Kala…..the rain didn’t disturb your lens at all….peter:)

I just found out what the L on B link does….it looks just as good enlarged!!!:)

  4. Rain? I’ve heard of that. If you don’t want anymore of it, send it my way! I’d love to see what it looks like:-) Love the focus and layering on this image.

  5. Ethereal and oh so very lovely once again. Beautiful shot.

We have had a lot of rain here too and when I went walking today it was along wet and muddy trails, which is quite a novelty here in Texas.

  6. Rainy season is upon us on this end of the globe. Still, I doubt I can ever work the camera and PS like you do. Great B&W shot!

  7. I especially love the sharp, detailed branches layered in the foreground over the softly blurred tree in the background. There is a lovely delicacy and grace here.

  8. I love the way the blossoms just pop with the monocrome tones and are perfectly placed for your rainy day hike! Stay bundled up and dry Kala!
