  1. Kala, You know him well, don’t you? 🙂

Thank you for comment. It means a lot coming from an expert. Now, I’m beginning to see the differences with the butterfly photos. Funny that I didn’t see them until I received my 30th comment. LOL!

  2. I like this interpretation of Van Gogh… true funny story: my hubby’s first encounter with poppies was in his own front yard when his family was living in Pakistan. The maid from Peshawar (bordering Afghanistan) swore she had planted them to brighten up the garden and nothing to do with her father’s smoking habits ;-P

  3. Hi, Kala:) Thanks for the poppies. I am on my break so I hovered here. Beautiful pictures. I hope I’d be done with all my tests so I can frequent here often.

    Have a good day!

  4. I absolutely love Van Gogh’s “Vase with Cornflowers and Poppies.” But I have to say that you have one-upped him on the poppies! These are fantastic! The texture and brush strokes in your composition are incredible. The poppies are even better when enlarged to the fullest resolution. Incredible DOF! Each is floating on the canvas!
