Love the purple. I’ve grown fond of the color the past few months. As you probably saw on my blog as well. 🙂 Always a pleasure to view your photographs.
beautiful color. Spring is such a great time in terms of color – green, pinks, violets et al. Very different from the vibrance of summer and the reds and browns of fall.
Love the colors in this one, and how the f-stop you used provides some nice texture for the leaves but blurs them enough so they don’t detract from the flowers.
These dark red peony buds are gorgeous Kala.
What I like very much in all your photos is the setup, the beautiful garden and field scenes or sky, as background.
Nice work again!
it makes me wish that we could have fall and skip straight to spring.
peonies are definitely one of my favorites in the spring garden.
beautiful remembrance.
ooohhh Kala, you make me wish it were that time of year again. I’m not sure I’m ready to head into fall (and then winter) but maybe our photos will keep us going. These are so lovely.

I really love how you focused on the one unopened flower in the image–creates a real feeling of hopefulness and optimism.
I need all the optimism I can get!
It is astounding how you isolated one bloom in all that colour.
It’s the lens!

SO BEAUTIFUL! May I ask you, do you paint with some speciell brush in PS or how do you do it? 🙂
I don’t use Photoshop. I edit in Adobe Camera Raw and the “painting” is there before I do any post processing.
