Just sent the lab 30 images to be printed for a local show next Friday evening. It has taken me days to decide which images to include. I am calling the collection “Moody April” because all of the shots were taken this month. My nature photography has been described as ethereal and surreal. I am going with moody at the moment. Oh, look!

Spring Lullaby
Under the pink magnolia tree.
I took quite a few photos of magnolia trees with white blossoms, but I was very happy that I was able to capture this image with the pink ones as well.
For C.R.
Well, for some reason, this surreal image of tulips blooming under a budding crab apple tree did not get recorded onto my computer when I transferred the files from yesterday’s photo shoot. And before I realized what happened, I had already “deleted” the RAW image from my memory card. Thankfully, with the help of my dear friend C.R., I was able to restore about 50 images that would otherwise have been lost. This is one of them.
Magnolia over forsythia.
I couldn’t resist posting this photo, but it really is best viewed large
Six months.
